Located on the Western regions of Madhya Pradesh & lies on the bank of Saraswati & Kanh Rivers. Indore district is surrounded by Ujjain to the North, Dewas to the East, Khargone to the South, and Dhar to the West.
Indore is the only city in India with both an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Indore is Well connected through NH 3* it runs through Indore to Mumbai & passing through Nasik, Dewas, Gwalior & Agra, which enters in city at Kubali,& passes throughMhow, Machla, & exit at Kadawali. NH 47 which starts at Bamanbore in Gujrath, connects Ahmedabad, Godhara, Dahod, Dhar, Betul & Nagpur cities which enters in city at Dhar Road, & passes through Sudama Nagar, Regional Park, & exit at Palda.
Indore Railway Junction which falls under Western Railway Zone, is well connected with the other cities majorly Mumbai, Nagpur, Dehradun, Pune, Bangalore, Udaipur, Amritsar and Patna.
